Monstera laniata is indigenous to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, where it thrives as an epiphyte, climbing trees to access filtered sunlight and high humidity.

Water
Maintain consistently moist soil, allowing the top 2–3 inches to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly until excess drains out, ensuring the plant does not sit in waterlogged soil, which can lead to root rot. During winter months, reduce watering frequency to accommodate slower growth.

Light
Provide bright, indirect light to emulate the dappled sunlight of its natural rainforest environment. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves, and low light conditions, which may impede growth and leaf development.

Humidity
High humidity levels, ideally between 60–90%, are beneficial for Monstera laniata. Increase humidity by using a humidifier, placing the plant on a tray of water-filled pebbles, or regularly misting the leaves. Temperature
